We understand that financial barriers to mental health care can look different for everyone.
While we prioritize individuals and families with lower or fixed incomes or those experiencing financial hardship, our support is not limited to income alone. Many people have insurance that does not include mental health coverage, or still face high out-of-pocket costs for therapy and related services.
If paying for mental health support would create a financial strain for you, we encourage you to apply. Our goal is to help bridge that gap so more people here in Grundy County can access the care they need.
Once we receive your application, our team will review it carefully based on our guidelines and available funding.
If you’re approved, we’ll reach out to you directly to walk through next steps and help you get connected to care.

We primarily support individual therapy, counseling, and support groups, working with licensed professionals to ensure care is safe, effective, and tailored to your needs.
We also understand that mental health needs can sometimes be more urgent or intensive. In certain situations, we may be able to provide support for higher levels of care, including hospitalization.
If you’re unsure whether your specific needs are covered, we encourage you to apply or reach out. We’re here to listen and help however we can.
The amount of support varies based on your individual situation, the type of care you’re seeking, and our available funding.
We provide grants to help cover a portion of therapy and mental health service costs, with the goal of reducing the financial burden and making care more accessible.
